Graphics Plus+ designs logo for the 20th Anniversary of the Montreal Protocol September 2007
Graphics Plus+ is proud to have designed the logo for the upcoming United Nations 20th Anniversary of the Montreal Protocol: 19th Meeting of the Parties. The conference celebrates one of the most successful international environmental treaties, resulting in great progress being made towards a global phase-out of the production and consumption of ozone-depleting substances worldwide.
The logo was created as a positive and recognizable identifier for the conference and the broad range of events and activities that surround it. It was designed to be a representation of the 20th Anniversary theme, with symbolic visuals demonstrating the earth and its surrounding atmosphere. The colours chosen for the logo are green to represent the earth, blue to represent surrounding atmosphere, and a bright splash of yellow depicting the penetration of the sun's rays, giving our planet life.
Overall, this logo represents a celebration of the positive impact our actions are having on the balance of our environment, and Graphics Plus+ is proud to have been a part of the creative process.

Graphics Plus+ contributes to Bill C-288: " The Cost of Bill C-288 to Canadian Families and Business" April 2007
Under the terms of the Kyoto Protocol, held in Kyoto Japan, December 1997, 38 industrialized countries committed to cut their emissions of Greenhouse Gases between 2008 and 2012 – to at least 5% below 1990 levels. Each country faces different challenges based on its geography, economy and infrastructure. This international agreement was the first of its kind calling for global action on climate change.
Bill C-288 was implemented to ensure that Canada meets its global climate change obligations under the Kyoto Protocol. This Bill was recently assessed on how well it balanced environmental protection and economic growth. The findings presented in this report conclude that Canada cannot reach the 2008–2012 Kyoto targets without manufacturing an economic recession.
Graphics Plus+ was pleased to have been the firm selected for the production of this significant report.
